Spring Is Here!
As of March 20th spring has officially sprung! The last couple of seasons for both winter and fall I created a seasonal bucket list. This season of spring I’m doing the same. Spring will run from March 20th to June 21st this year. Keep reading to see what I have planned this spring and for your very own free spring 2026 bucket list printable.
Better Late Than Never
My bucket list comes a little late this season. After several weeks of family illnesses being passed around, a shoulder injury (that thank goodness wasn’t far worse!), and the week of catch up it took to get back to normal life after the downtime plus Easter festivities it’s amazing that a blog post is being posted this week at all! I HAD to get my seasonal bucket list up for you guys though! Better late than never. While the bucket list mentions some Easter activities and that has now past there are plenty more spring inspired fun to be had on my spring bucket list this year. I can’t wait to share what we have planned for this spring!
For The Love Of Spring
I was never the biggest fan of spring. I’ve always been a fall and winter girl, but in the last couple of years I’ve started to look forward to spring a bit more. I think most of this has to do with the fact that I have my daughter now. Children bring the nostalgia of seasons and holidays more to the surface as they remind us adults of the excitement of the changes of seasons.
Because of this I’ve embraced more spring and Easter decorating, and creating core memories is something I look forward to. This year I have plans to make this spring even more memorable than last! As my daughter gets older and remembers more and more of the years to come it feels important to spend our time embracing life at its fullest in every season.

The Spring 2026 Bucket List
This year, the spring bucket list is all about creating fun family memories. I also hope to start some traditions that we can begin doing this year that can continue for years to come. For example, I would love to go fruit picking or go to a spring festival. These things seem like unique events that are specific to the season, can easily become tradition, and are fun for the whole family.
Easter Fun
While Easter has already past, I still had to include a section on it since it did take up valuable real estate on my bucket list this year. From an Easter egg hunt, new Easter dresses for both me and our daughter, and baking Easter themed cookies with my daughter it is safe to say Easter was a big part of our spring this year. As Christians this season is one of the most important and celebrated. We got dressed up in our new Easter dresses and headed to church for a fun Easter egg hunt. We came home to a feast of delicious food my husband and I made – with the help of our daughter as she and I tackled the cookies! It was a fun day and few days leading up to Easter day, plus an excellent start to spring.
Before It Gets Too Hot
Here in Texas, odds are, by June we will already have summer temperatures here and rising. Before we hit the triple digit days I want to do all we can on the bucket list that includes outside adventures. A trip to the lake, fruit picking, a spring festival or flower picking, and perhaps even a family picnic all make the list this year. Where we live, peaches are very popular here, but there are some strawberry fields not far, and I have never been fruit picking. I think our daughter would love it!
I have even seen a few fairly local events that include a spring festival AND fruit picking which could check two of my bucket list items off the list and look like a blast! From food truck foods, games for kiddos, petting zoos, and the beauty of the fruit and flower fields it is a spring dream come true.
The Practical
Spring cleaning is something a lot of people do this time of year, but I prefer to focus on one spring home project. Whether that’s purging and cleaning out a cluttered closest or drawer, or it’s decorating a blank space in the home I like having a more singular area to focus on rather than deep cleaning my whole home. As a homemaker I can keep up with my overall home’s cleanliness pretty well – although you can always do more deep cleaning! The niche projects are a different story, however. After the last several years of pregnancies, postpartum, and all the in-between stages it’s safe to say it’s time for a wardrobe reset.
I plan to get rid of the clothes of yesteryear and things that no longer fit my new body. I also need to replace some items. You know the ones that have holes or ripped seams. Ideally, I would like to extend this clean out to my daughter’s closet as well. She has some clothes that she has outgrown that I need to sort through. I plan to save the items in age group order in some vacuum sealed bags. If we have another girl in the future they can use the clothing, and if not, everything is compiled and easy to donate when the time comes.
A Little Extra Fun
I know I already made Easter cookies with my daughter this season, but I love baking! My hope is that my daughter and I have many fun days of baking together now and in the future. She had a blast making the Easter cookies, so baking fun continues this season. I want to bake a fun spring themed item with my daughter like tasty lemon bars, or refreshing and light blueberry scones. Whatever we end up choosing, I am excited for the fun we will share in the kitchen!
Another little bonus on my bucket list this spring is a family movie night. While my daughter has a bedtime, maybe we stretch it a little this night or maybe an early evening movie night will be had. Either way, I think it would be so fun to make some popcorn, pick a movie and watch it with all the lights out and window shades down, and have some tasty sweet treat on hand. Homemade cookies or even buying some classic movie candy would each bring a fun twist to the night. This is one of those bucket list items that I hope can become a tradition too – a monthly movie family night sounds good to me!
Easy Breezy
I want this spring to be fun, light-hearted, and still productive. It is the time of year for a reset and refresh. There is not too much to this season that is overly stressful or pressing. The focus for us is going to be on spending quality family time together. We hope to embrace time outside before it gets too hot, have airy days in the kitchen baking light and fresh spring themed pastries, and creating lasting family traditions inside and outside of the home.
Download Your Spring 2026 Bucket List
If you would like to create your own spring bucket list like mine, then you can download it by clicking here. Everything including the year is customizable so you can use the bucket list for years to come if you choose. One of my favorite ways to use these bucket lists are to print them off and frame them in a cute seasonally themed frame. You can use a marker that is safe to use on glass and can be cleaned off of glass to fill in and check items off your list. This is fun for the kids to do too!
Happy spring everyone!!
